Gas

You never pay gas to trade. Trading and in-app signatures on Hyperliquid and Polymarket are always gasless — you never need to hold HYPE, POL, or any gas token to trade. Hyperliquid trading doesn't charge gas, and Polymarket transactions are sponsored through Polymarket's relayer.

The only time network gas comes up is funding, and it depends on which kind of wallet you use:

• External wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, WalletConnect): depositing or bridging in pays that chain's normal gas — for example, an Arbitrum deposit needs a little ETH on Arbitrum to cover the bridge transaction. This gas goes to the network, not to Aura.
• Embedded Aura wallet (new Aura account): those deposit and bridge transactions are sponsored, so you pay no gas at all.

Hyperliquid trading fees

Hyperliquid charges maker and taker fees based on your 14-day volume tier. These are protocol-level fees set by Hyperliquid — Aura has no control over them. See Hyperliquid's fee schedule for the full rate table.

Aura builder fee

If the fee applies to your account, setup includes a one-time approval that authorizes a fee ceiling of 0.1% — the most Aura could ever charge per order without asking you to re-approve. Most accounts set up through Aura are on the zero-fee path and never see this approval step (see Free Trading). When the fee is charged, the rate today is 0.001% (0.1 basis point) per order, far below the ceiling. See Builder Fee.

When it applies, the fee is charged across all Hyperliquid markets — mainnet perps, spot, and HIP-3 markets — except perps.fun, which is always exempt. Most accounts set up through Aura pay nothing at all (see Free Trading). Polymarket isn't part of this fee — it has its own fees, covered below.

Polymarket fees

Polymarket has its own fee structure for prediction market trades. See Polymarket's docs for current rates.

Platform fee

None. Aura charges no subscription fee, no platform fee, and no withdrawal fee.

Zero-fee path

When you enable trading, Aura is set as your Hyperliquid referrer — this works the same way whether you signed in with a new Aura account or your own existing wallet. With Aura as your referrer, your Hyperliquid builder fees are zero until $1B lifetime trading volume. The 0.001% fee applies only if your Hyperliquid account already had a different referrer before you joined Aura (referrals on Hyperliquid are permanent and can't be changed), or once your account crosses $1B lifetime volume.
